Panasonic / ABUS Locking Cylinder Frame Battery Deluxe, Next-generation EBike

The original Panasonic lock cylinder for frame batteries on Panasonic mid-mounted motors on 36 volt basis.

Note: To be able to change the lock cylinder, the frame battery must be able to be taken out of the holder of the e-bike. Furthermore, the new lock cylinder attachment to the frame are no thread cut. This cuts the original screw by itself, because it is a soft aluminum die casting.

To change the Panasonic battery lock / lock cylinder, first remove the frame battery and carefully remove the battery lock cover by loosening a screw. Then the new Panasonic battery lock can be replaced.

Please note that the original ABUS / Flyer lock cylinder suitable for the Panasonic system since 2011 has a diameter of 19.5 mm. If your old lock cylinder should be wider, we recommend the use of the matching battery lock cover.
