SHIMANO EW-SD50 Di2 Power Cable

The SHIMANO EW-SD50 cable is used to connect STEPS and DI2 components, supplies them with power and transmits interactive signals. The cable is waterproof and weatherproof. The connection to the corresponding E-Tube ports is very easy via „Plug and Play“ – just plug it in and you’re done. It is available in various lengths from 150 mm to 1,600 mm. This guarantees compatibility with all possible frame shapes.

The matching TL-EW02 tool makes installation even easier.

Thanks to the „Plug & Play“ connections of the E-TUBE platform and the D-FLY wireless connections, it is easier than ever to check the status of the system and apply customised settings for DI2 and SHIMANO STEPS components using a PC, tablet or smartphone. Functions such as SHIMANO SYNCHRONIZED SHIFT can be adjusted wirelessly via Bluetooth® while riding. An automatic check for firmware updates is performed at every start-up to ensure that all components are running the latest version.
